Universal Magazines taking home the award for ‘Best eCommerce Strategy’ at the Mumbrella Publish Awards 2017. Congratulations to Emma, Charles and the team!
The ‘Best eCommerce Strategy’ award recognises the use of eCommerce to drive additional revenue in line with the publishers editorial content.
Universal Magazines has dominated the craft content market in Australia for over a decade and are owners of the craft publications; Homespun and Quilters Companion.
With the help of Convert Digital – Universal Magazines launched the Cosy Project site earlier this year. Together we digitalised the craft content channel of their business to which has resulted in an innovative, additional revenue stream.
Integrating Magento with tools like Flowplayer provides both video content on the site and allows users to purchase video tutorials. End users are provided an account to access PDF downloads for patterns, video content and other purchases.
Entries were scored on a combination of; commercial success, eCommerce strategy and connection to editorial content/brand – of which Universal Magazines’, Cosy Project website came out on top of all others shortlisted.
